General Guidelines

We have 2 demo boats (Duffy 21 Cruiser and a Duffy Cat 16 shown above) in the water at our Lake Gaston showroom.

The Duffy 21 - with its enclosure and heaters - is suitable for year-round use and can accommodate group sizes up to 12. The Duffy Cat 16 can seat 10 adults comfortably. While this Cat 16 demo boat is not equipped with enclosure and heaters, the enclosure is now a standard feature and the heater is available as an option.

We'll bring the boat(s) and captain. You bring along your favorite refreshments and friends!

Lake Gaston

Contact us by phone or electronically at the Four Seasons Boats showroom to set a date.You and your guests can come to our Dockside location for departure or we'll pick you up at your waterfront location. (We need at least 2.5 feet of water depth.)

Brandermill

Contact us by phone or electronically at the Four Seasons Boats showroom to set a date and pick-up location at Brandermill. Then contact Dena Sindelir at the Brandermill Community Association (BCA) to request a Day Pass for the reservoir. We will use the Sunday Park ramp. You are are free to invite your friends. Please know that we respect the privacy and protective ordinances of Brandermill; this process has been approved by BCA. Look for our ad in the Village Mill!

Pinehurst and the Seven Lakes Area

To arrange private demo cruises at Lake Pinehurst or nearby Seven Lakes locations, first obtain approval through your residential ordinances if required then contact us by phone or electronically at the Four Seasons Boats showroom to arrange a date and meeting location.

While Lake Gaston on the Virginia-North Carolina border is our base of operation, our exclusive Duffy dealership territory serves an extended region that covers parts of Virginia and North Carolina: Smith Mountain Lake, Roanoke Rapids Lake, Pinehurst, Seven Lakes region, Lake Auman, Lake Trace, lakes in or near the Raleigh - Durham - Chapel Hill area of NC and Swift Reservoir south of Richmond, VA (Brandermill and Wood Lake) - and locations in general where we would be the closest Duffy boat dealer.

Duffy Electric Boats are really about lifestyle rather than boating. Restricted waterfront residential communities and the mechanical headaches typical of gas-powered boats are the reasons these boats came into existence in Newport Harbor, CA over 30 years ago and why they've been getting better ever since. A great way to find out how Duffy boats can enhance your residential waterfront community is to host a Duffy Demo Day. This can be a great community event - especially for Fall and Winter - when the traditional "boating season" is over. While we structure this event to best suit our host, it includes complimentary rides, education on electric boating, and specific details on the Duffy product line.
